I design interactive products that align user needs with business goals and expectations. My process turns user insights into clear, buildable solutions that improve engagement and efficiency.
Rivian
Rivian is rethinking what vehicle dashboards should do when drivers need focus most. I worked on a self-directed project with design team members to redesign the navigation and infotainment experience. I sought out to reduce distraction, prioritizing safety, and helping drivers respond faster in critical moments.

Sleeper
Sleeper is a fantasy sports platform where Dynasty players make high-stakes decisions every week. I explored how the iOS app could better support trades and roster management by surfacing critical contract and player data without disrupting the fast, familiar workflows users are acustomed to.

So who am I?

Me in a team
I’m Evan, a Product Designer who bridges user needs and business goals. With a background in interaction design and product thinking, I help companies reduce friction, boost engagement, and ship products that solve real user needs.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had a creative side that needed to be expressed (building public Minecraft server maps and resource packs). That enthusiasm for learning, creating, and problem-solving still drives me today. I thrive on turning complex challenges into intuitive, engaging experiences.

Let’s connect if you need a designer who thinks strategically, communicates clearly, and delivers practical, buildable solutions.
I work best in messy, unclear problem spaces where there isn’t an obvious solution yet. I use UX research techniques to understand what actually matters instead of relying on assumptions or opinions, and I translate that into clear product direction.

I care about both structure and detail, including how information is organized, how interfaces feel to use, and how small decisions like spacing, hierarchy, and typography affect final designs. I also focus on execution, making sure designs are practical to build and hold up in real use cases.

On the collaboration side, I adapt quickly to new workplace design processes and tools. I focus on ensuring my design decisions are easy to understand, feasible to build, and aligned with meaningful business goals.
I work closely with PMs, engineers, and other designers to keep work clear and moving. I share ideas early, even when they’re rough, so feedback happens throughout the process instead of only at the end. I keep people aligned on what I’m working on, what decisions are being made, and what might be blocked or at risk.

I also put effort into making design files easy to understand, with clear structure, annotations, and context, so handoffs don’t turn into back-and-forth confusion. A big part of my process is thinking through problems and technical constraints early, so the team can move with fewer surprises and less rework.
